Every year in the United Kingdom, an average of 14 deaths and 1200 major injuries are as a result of falls from a ladder.
Ladders account for a third of all reported fall from height incidents in the workplace, many of which could be prevented with basic training, guidance, an inspection checklist and/or safety precautions. All ladders should be checked prior to use for any faults or general wear and tear.
Good to Go Safety enables a tag to be attached to a ladder and used in conjunction with a ladder inspection checklist to ensure an essential pre-use inspection is carried out.
